I bought this luggage two months ago for a trip to the Philippines to meet my fiancé, but unfortunately, some of the luggage still needed to be made so I knew it was gonna be a close call before my trip. They surprised me because all my luggage came in the day before the trip and embossed with my name and I had so many people on the airplane, stop and compliment my luggage and how good the leather smelled. I am one happy camper and would totally recommend merchant Mercantile to anyone looking for old world craftsmanship .
This is a very rugged and well made bag. I use it for my work I travel every week for three to four days and I can fit all my needs in this bag. I move heavy trucks and so I am in and out of trucks in ruff conditions and this bag is with me every step.
Just received my Theodore carry on roller bag and backpack they look and feel great. More than happy with the quality and construction. Both are as advertised and live up to the good reviews others have posted. Haven’t used the roller bag yet but can tell it will carry as well as it will roll. The carrying straps are long enough to actually work for carrying the bag comfortably. The rolling gear looks to be impressive as well. I think the combination of the backpack and roller bag will hold up over time and become old friends. Looking forward to finding out :)

Just gifted the Theodore rolling carry-in’s to my husband and son yesterday… they were delighted! The aroma of the leather, the pebbling of the grain, the deep dark colors, even the heavy zippers enchanted them. They’re ready to roll!
Had my eye on this bag for a year or two and when the time came to have one was like Christmas in July for me. Beautiful bag, smells good and looks fantastic. The big wheels roll smoothly at any airport and cobble stone streets.
